The Grant Building is a dynamic commercial and residential mixed-use building, anchored by Bath’s first private office, coworking, and flex event space, Union + Co.

The Grant Building is located on the Northern side of the intersection of Centre Street and Water Streets — Bath’s front porch. It is centrally positioned and adjacent to Reny’s, Springer’s Jewelers, Bath’s City Hall, and the City’s free parking area on Water Street. The building is visible from Route 1 and two blocks away, 6,000 employees a day come to work at BIW.
Anticipated redevelopment projects are adjacent to this location.

First Floor
The first floor is approximately 7,200 square feet with two front entrances and one rear entrance at grade. The first floor is served by an existing freight elevator that abuts Water Street (delivery entrance).
This space was home to award-winning Beacon Park, Bath’s temporary indoor community park, implemented as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic in the winter of 2020.
The first floor is a dynamic space anchored by Union + Co, Bath’s first private office, coworking, and flex event space. Union + Co has 19 private offices, dedicated and flex desks, and conference room space, as well as a flexible event space.

Lower Level
INVULNERABLE NOTHINGS are an anchor tenant in our basement, where they occupy "Cellar on Centre", a flexible theater studio for new performance work with the capacity to seat small audiences of 50. The Cellar serves as a home for the company to experiment and build their own work, which they have toured nationally and internationally since 2016, as well as an anchoring point for visiting artists from the Midcoast and beyond. Public programming and performances begin summer 2024 and will include theater, screenings, and poetry.
